The Referee Coordinator shall be responsible for confirming by phone each week that the assigned Referee is planning to be at the proper field at the proper time for our home games.
This person shall also be responsible for ensuring that the coaches playing at our home field have the check to pay the referee prior to the game(s). This can usually be handed to the coach at the Saturday practice for Sunday games.

Here is an example of the prep work to get checks ready. You need to check the schedule for our home games, verify who is the Ref and Associate official at each game, and get the check to one of our home team coaches on Saturday so that they can pay the Ref's at the start of the game on Sunday.
