Keep in mind that other volunteers have signed up to help with particular tasks and their names will be provided to you when teams are split.
Team Parents – After players are split into teams, you should introduce yourself to your coach. Together you can decide which of you will handle each game day task. Each Team needs 1 (preferably 2) team parents.
TEAM PARENT RESPONSILITIES:
Help with preseason details
Help get names on helmets using tape until decals are in – first practice
Distribute spirit wear orders
helmet names and decals on – assist Rich Holoubek
record jersey numbers for roster
get jersey number list to Roster Coordinator
Arrange parent rotation for
Game clocks (2-3 people per home game)
One Person to record statistics at every game
Parking direction at home games (if needed)
Other Game Day Tasks coach may want help with:
Carrying game day equipment bags (many)
Make sure referee has been given his check
Each Team has a water jug, work with the coach to see if you or who will make sure it is at each game.
Coordinate game halftime snacks for the kids
Know field address and have cell phone for directions and emergencies
